I am delighted to announce that I will be joining Forum Musikae Escuela Superior de Música in Madrid as Professor of Piano for the 2026/27 academic year.
Forum Musikae is one of Madrid’s leading higher music institutions, offering official Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance. This new appointment marks the beginning of an exciting chapter: the creation of a piano studio in Madrid for serious young pianists seeking advanced artistic training within an international environment.
As Professor of Piano, I will work individually with students across the official Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, focusing on artistic development, technical refinement, repertoire, performance preparation, and the wider professional skills needed for a life in music.
After nearly two decades as Associate Professor of Piano at Stellenbosch University, alongside my work as a performer, chamber musician, recording artist, and Yamaha International Artist, I am especially excited to bring my teaching experience to Madrid, a city with a rich cultural life and a vibrant international community.
My aim is to work with pianists who are artistically curious, technically ambitious, and ready to develop their individual musical voice. Students interested in studying with me at Forum Musikae may apply through the school’s official admissions process.
Admissions are currently open for the 2026/27 academic year.
