Torleif and I are playing two evenings of music that speak to both nostalgia and deep emotion. From the dreamlike Janáček to the lyrical Schubert songs I’ve always loved. This program has been a joy to prepare. Rearranged works originally written for violin take on a new voice through the cello, and Brahms is, as always, the anchor.
